These high quality eyepieces feature a generous 66 degree field of view with superior sharpness across the field when compared with less expensive eyepieces. Another leading company sells these same eyepieces for over $50 each!
These eyepieces feature a 5-element design. All air to glass surfaces have a multi-layer coating (so these are fully multi-coated, even though the barrel imprint says "multi coated") for maximum light transmission. All lens edges are blackened for superior contrast. Straight-up eyecup. Insert tube has safety groove and is threaded for standard 1.25" filters. Please also note that on the barrel, these are labeled as "Ultra Wide" but we call them "Enhanced Wide Angle" to distinguish them from our 80-deg UWA eyepieces. All EWA eyepieces come with a free bolt case (a $3 value)!
