Product Details
The Antares 2" T-Adapter is a versatile and solidly built adapter that will serve your astrophotography needs for years to come. It is actually three adapters built into one!
In its most basic form, it functions as a 2" prime focus adapter. Insert the chrome plated 2" barrel into your 2" focuser, attach a T-ring specific to your camera (sold separately) to the male T-thread at the other end, and you can use your telescope as a giant telephoto lens to shoot wide field images.
But that is not all. The upper black ring and the lower chrome barrel can be separated. The black ring has a male T-thread on one side and a female SCT-thread on the other, i.e., it is an SCT-T thread adapter. The lower chrome barrel thus has a male SCT thread on the other end, i.e., it is an SCT-2" adapter. These adapters meet a variety of needs for amateur astronomers for various imaging and visual applications.
The chrome barrel is threaded to accept standard 2" (48mm) filters. Weight = 9.1oz (0.57lb). Made in Japan.
