1. TECHNICAL ASTRONOMY ASSISTANT / STORE MANAGER
Looking for a passionate amateur astronomer with interest and experience in both visual observing and imaging. Must enjoy learning, supporting customers, and be very hands-on. Knowledge of astronomy industry and manufacturers/vendors a plus.
Assist with all sorts of astronomy related tasks around the office, including but not limited to: product evaluation/testing/inspection, quality control, receiving, customer tech support (via phone/email), floor sales, returns processing, new product development, etc.
While knowledge of astronomy and astronomy products is the main requirement, we would also like this candidate to wear multiple hats and assist with other job functions. So let us know what else you can do besides astronomy. We could use your assistance in any the following areas: online sales (eBay / Amazon / shopping feeds), online marketing (SEO / PPC advertising), technical or popular astronomy writing, product photography, pricing analysis, community involvement (CloudyNights, Facebook, Twitter), etc. Must also be very computer and internet savvy.
Will consider part- or full-time applicants. Strongly prefer a candidate who can come in M-F for 3-8 hours/day. Location - Agena office in Los Angeles Area (Paramount), CA only.

2. INTERNET MARKETING / SALES ASSISTANT
Looking for an SEO/SEM specialist to handle all aspects of Agena's growing marketing and sales efforts.
Scope of work:
- Grow our current online marketing efforts via: Newsletters, special offers and coupons/promotions, online advertising, Google Adwords, affiliate marketing, etc.
- Establish/manage marketing presence via: Social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.), online forums, press releases, product videos, loyalty program, etc.
- Assist in sales efforts by analytically growing our sales on: Amazon, eBay, and other PPC/shopping channels
- Increase our Google/Bing visibility via: SEO, back-links, keyword analysis, A/B testing, market analysis, etc.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in several of the above areas with working knowledge of most areas
- Superb attention to detail / Driven to produce very high quality work
- Excellent writing skills and keen analytical mindset
- Photography / Forum management / Photoshop/Astronomy knowledge/skills a plus
Part-time position with the possibility of turning full-time depending on your breadth of experience. Location - Agena office in Los Angeles Area (Paramount), CA only.

3. FREELANCE ASTRONOMY WRITER (POSITION FILLED)
Looking for an experienced writer with a passion for amateur astronomy and observing. Must have deep technical and practical knowlede of astronomy equipment as well as the astronomy industry. Assist mostly with writing attactive and accurate product descriptions, as well as with product instruction manuals, website content, general interest articles, newsletters, press releases, etc. Experience with SEO/SEM concepts a plus.
Freelance position. Location - anywhere, but US strongly preferred.
