Product Details
Get the most out of your Questar 3.5 telescope with Tele Vue's # AQE-0005 1.25" eyepiece adapter. The aperture opening in Questar eyepiece holders limits the true field of view in eyepieces with large field stops. The use of this adapter allows you to use TeleVue and other 1.25" eyepieces with the Questar and increase the true field of view. For example, compared to the 24mm Questar supplied eyepiece, the Tele Vue 19mm Panoptic has 17% wider true field and the 24mm Panoptic has a 30% wider true field, even with vignetting limiting its potential in Questar telescopes.
Features
- This finely crafted piece is CNC machined out of solid aluminum stock to complement the Questar.
- Its polished aluminum base has blackened anti-reflection threads on the inside aperture to improve contrast.
- A black, anodized, knurled focusing-ring allows focusing to the Questar viewfinder optics, and a lock-screw (with two locations for convenience) gives extra security.
