Important Note About Torn Baader Filter Seals:
Recently, Baader started applying a new filter label on many filters that goes over the edge of the case and also acts as a seal. Unfortunately, these labels rip far too easily during transport, giving the false appearance that the filter case has been previously opened. Many filters we now get from Baader arrive like the ones shown in the photos below, and many others will rip en route from us to you. Rest assured that ALL filters we ship to you are brand new and unopened as received from Baader, whether the seal is intact or partially/completely ripped.

Baader has agreed to revert to their old design of 2-piece labels, but until they use up their current labels, we will continue to have this problem for a while and you might also get a mix of different filter label types. Thank you for your understanding.

- 47.4 mm (2" w/o cell) x 2 mm Baader CMOS UV/IR-Cut (420 – 685 nm) Bandpass Filter, suitable from f/15 to f/1.8
- 2" Filter removed from filter cell, specially selected for use with 2" Filter sliders of the Baader FCCT (Filter Changer Camera Tilter) for RASA 8 and QHY cameras (# 2459070 or 2459071)
- Reflects harmful thermal radiation in the infrared spectral range
- Provides 98% transmission over the entire visible spectrum from 420 - 685 nm
- Prevents blurred star imaging with red-sensitive digital and CCD/CMOS cameras
- Reflex-Blocker™ hard coated and planeoptically polished – with sealed coating edges (Life-Coat™)

Baader Planetarium guarantees their Life-Coat™ coatings will not peel, flake or physically degrade and will withstand repeated cleaning with fine optical cleaning equipment. The Limited Lifetime Warranty applies to the original purchaser and does not cover failure from mis-use, physical damage through improper handling, or improper cleaning.
