This bundle consists of the following 2 items:
- ZWO M42 (T/T2) to M48 Extender / 2" Prime Focus Adapter with 16.5mm Extension # M42-M48-16.5MM
- ZWO M42-to-M42 21mm Extension # T2-EXT-21
When coupled together, this adapter set will provide an M48x0.75 female thread on the telescope side and an M42x0.75 male thread on the camera side, with a total optical length of 37.5mm.
These 2 adapters are already included with all Pro/Cooled ZWO cameras. However, these are not included with ZWO's non-cooled or planetary cameras. If you want to attach one of these cameras to an M48 threaded accessory (such as a focal reducer or corrector that requires 55mm of back focuser), you need both these parts.
Please check your camera specifications before ordering. This will work with cameras that have a 17.5mm backfocus specification from the M42 female T thread on the front of the camera (for example, ASI183MC/MM, ASI294MC, and ASI1600MC/MM, etc.). If you are using a camera with a 12.5mm backfocus specification (for example, ASI224MC, ASI385MC, ASI462MC, ASI662MC, etc.), then you will need an additional 5mm T thread spacer to get to 55mm (this is not included).
Not for use with ZWO mini cameras.
