This versatile Blue Fireball 2" to 1.25" adapter includes T-threads. It is machined of anodized aluminum with dual thumbscrews for extra security. Barrel is threaded for 2" (48mm) filters.
This combination adapter that can be used as a 2"-to-1.25" eyepiece adapter or as a 2" T-Thread adapter for prime focus photography.
Standard 2" T-Adapter fits on any telescope that uses a 2" eyepiece focuser for prime focus photography. Requires appropriate T-ring for your camera (sold separately).
When used as an eyepiece adapter to use 1.25" eyepieces in a 2" focuser, your eyepieces are protected from set-screw marks by the use of a brass compression ring.
Please note that you cannot use an eyepiece and a camera simultaneously with this adapter for eyepiece projection astrophotography.
