This filter has standard 2" male threads for use with 2" camera nosepieces, 2" filter wheels, and 2" filter drawers/sliders.
This dark filter is made of black anodized metal to ensure a long life with no fading or discoloration. Some other cheaper dark frame filters on the market utilize a black plastic substrate in a regular fitler cell, and these can bend or crack over time. Our dark frame filter is machined as one solid metal piece. In fact, you can also use this as a 2" dust plug for 2" female-threaded astronomy accessories if you want to.
