Make leveling your smart telescope easier with the Agena Tripod Leveling Base! Designed for all ZWO Seestar models and most other smart telescopes with a compatible flat mounting base, this convenient accessory allows you to fine-tune your setup without constantly adjusting your tripod legs. Its compact design provides a practical solution for achieving a level, stable telescope setup. Smart telescopes and tripods pictured are not included and for demonstration purposes only.
Note: Mounting to a photo tripod with a 1/4"-20 stud requires a 3/8"-to-1/4" reducing bushing, available here.
Premium Quality Components
The base is made of aircraft-grade aluminum alloy, which is CNC machined with precision and quality build that won't wear easily over time. The knobs are anodized red for easy location in the dark. The non-slip rubber pad on top of the base protects your valuable smart telescope from being scratched and keeps it securely in place. The load capacity is 44 lbs (20 kg), so you can attach even heavier smart telescopes or cameras. Last but not least, two of the three levels are visible from the side, allowing you to level your smart telescope once it's attached.
Simple Setup
- Step 1: Attach the leveling base to your tripod using the standard 3/8" thread, then mount your smart telescope on top.
- Step 2: Loosen the smaller locking knobs by turning them counterclockwise.
- Step 3: Use the Seestar app’s leveling feature or the base’s three built-in levels to adjust the larger knobs until level.
- Step 4: Tighten the locking knobs against the adjustment knobs to secure your leveled setup.
