This is a new Antares quick-release finder bracket with two rings for 80mm finders. While the rings are the same as Antares' popular F80DTB rings, this new item can use the more commonly used Synta/Vixen style dovetail base for attachment to your telescope as compared to the Antares-proprietary style on the F80DTB rings..
Each ring includes three-point nylon screw adjustment for precisely aligning your finder. The inside diameter of the bracket is 90mm, so it can be used with finder tubes ranging from 50mm to about 84mm in diameter (not finder aperture). All-metal bracket with an anodized black matte finish and nylon screws.
Please note that while the rail at the bottom of the rings is made to accept Vixen/Synta-style finder bases, no base is included with this finder bracket. However, all the Vixen-style bases we sell separately (for example, #s FURB, CFURB, SCTFURB, XFURB) will work with this.
Please also note that it is fairly common for the two rings on these Antares finder brackets to be at a slight tilt at times. Thus, they may not be exactly parallel with each other, but this does not impact their functionality in any way.

When ordering any Vixen style dovetail base (shoe), bar or plate, please note that there are two different size standards and applications in the industry. A Vixen/Synta dovetail base for this Antares 2-ring 80mm finder bracket is smaller and generally has a slot opening to accommodate 32-34mm finder bracket dovetails. A Vixen base/clamp/saddle for mounts and telescopes is wider at 42-44mm. The two are not the same and are not interchangeable.
