- Features standard 2" SCT female thread (2" dia x 24TPI) for attachment to most standard SCT telescopes
- Features twist lock mechanism with knurled ring and compression band to firmly hold 2" diagonals and other accessories
- Adapter length = 44mm / 1.73" approximately; Maximum diameter = 62.7mm / 2.45"; weight = 2.7oz / 76g
- Made of black painted aluminum
- Made in Canada
Includes 2" dust plug and rubber o-ring (place between adapter and male SCT thread of scope in case male SCT thread is longer than this adapter's female SCT thread; should not be required for most applications).
Please note: A very small number of older Celestron SCTs had a non-standard SCT thread (with a different thread pitch), so this adapter may not screw on. We cannot advise you of this before purchase, as it will work for the vast majority of telescopes.
