Five Elements, One Beautifully Flat Field
The FRA600 features a 108mm quintuplet Petzval optical system with two ED glass elements for excellent color correction and crisp image detail. Its built-in field correction produces sharp, round stars across a generous 66mm image circle—well beyond full-frame coverage—with no separate field flattener required.
Built to Carry Your Imaging Setup
A large 4.2" rack-and-pinion focuser provides smooth 10:1 fine adjustment and dependable support for heavier cameras and accessories. The included tube rings feature multiple mounting points, while the carrying handle and Losmandy-style dovetail make mounting, balancing, and accessorizing the telescope straightforward.
Room for Growth and Flexibility
Use the FRA600 at its native 600mm focal length and f/5.6 focal ratio, or add the optional Askar 0.7x Reducer for Askar FRA600 unlockes a faster 421mm f/3.9 imaging system (sold separately). But the included accessories such as threaded conical camera adapter, a finder base, retractable dew shield, mounting hardware, and protective carrying case help prepare the FRA600 for a wide range of observing and imaging setups!
