The 52mm Super ED guide scope includes 1 piece of SD glass for better color aberration correction and tighter star images.
Askar's 52mm SD guide scope is light, compact, and stable. With an aperture is 52mm and a focal length is 249mm it weighs only 1.63lbs(740g).
The aperture area of the 52mm objective lens is 164% larger than that of a 32mm lens. The limiting magnitude can reach 10.4.
The 52mm SD guide scope has a doublet objective lens design, including 1 piece of SD glass,. This provides tighter star images and less color fringing. In addition to guiding, it can also be used for visual observation and astrophotography.
A 1.25” adapter, an M42 threaded adapter, and two 40mm extension tubes are included. The extension tubes and adapter are removable to accommodate different imaging or visual needs.
When used with a camera, the CMOS position relative to the focal plane varies depending on the type of camera attached. For precise guiding with a guiding camera, the rear 1.25” adapter can be attached directly. For planetary cameras or DSO cameras, the M42 threaded adapter can be used for attachment. For visual observation, you can remove the extension tube and attach the 1.25” adapter to use with a corresponding size diagonal and eyepiece.
The 52mm SD guide scope is designed with an XY-axis adjustable design, which allows users to adjust the guide scope to be coaxial with the telescope, further enhancing the accuracy of the guiding.
The integrated Helical focusing design has a travel length of 25mm. Users can directly turn the focuser manually to adjust.
The 52mm SD guide scope has a Vixen-style base as well as both 1/4" and M4 threaded holes for easy attachment.
Available in black and silver and crafted using high-quality CNC machining, with anodized treatment. The advanced manufacturing process gives them a textured feel.
