The ColorMagic SII Narrowband Filter has a center wavelength of 672nm and also offers at least 85% peak transmittance. It is specifically designed to capture emission nebulae, planetary nebulae, and supernova remnants that emit SII light. The deep red emission from SII differs distinctly from the surrounding H-alpha radiation, revealing different structural details in each region. Thanks to its 3nm narrow bandwidth and high light transmission, the ColorMagic SII filter significantly boosts image contrast and enhances the definition of celestial structures.
