Additional filter slider designed for Astrodevice filter drawers. Slider accepts standard 1.25" or 2″ threaded astrophotography filters. Please select the correct version from the size and model choices listed above.
To maintain the correct position in the drawer, the slider is equipped with two side magnets.
As standard, Astrodevice drawers are sold with two sliders like this one. Buying more can be beneficial for several reasons: first, if you use multiple filters, you can have each filter attached to a separate slider and then you don’t waste time unscrewing the old filter and re-screwing the new one. When it comes time to change it, you simply slide another slider into the previously installed filter. Second, it’s a good idea to have empty drawers in reserve in case of some unforeseen problem. So if you value convenience and are precautious, it’s worth equipping yourself with extra filter sliders.
The slider comes in two variants, differing minimally in size. Depending on which drawer you have, choose the appropriate slider variant.
- FS 900: for 90mm Astrodevice Filter Drawers #FD 900 M87 and # FD 900 M42
- FS900-125 for 1.25" filters
- FS900-200 for 2" filters
- FS 860: for 86mm Astrodevice Filter Drawers # FD 860 M87 and # FD 860 M42
- FS860-125 for 1.25" filters
- FS860-200 for 2" filters
The base of the product are 3D printed elements made of PET-G CF filament (polyethylene terephthalate glycol-modified reinforced with carbon fiber).
