Options
The Astronetics ZWO camera ring allows you to support your ASI camera while used with the Astronetics Samyang/Rokinon 135 F/2 mounting system. This reduces risk of having tilt in your imaging train, which is a common occurrence with fast optics.
This camera ring is only for use with Version 1 of the Astronetics ring mounting system. Not for use with the newer Version 2 mounting system.
Camera Ring available in 3 sizes for various cooled ZWO cameras:
- 78mm: ASI1600, ASI294, ASI183, ASI533, etc.
- 86mm: ASI094, ASI128, ASI071, etc.
- 90mm: ASI2600, ASI6200, etc.
If you are not sure about the body diameter of your ZWO camera, you can see drawings on ZWO's site or refer to table 2 in our ZWO Buyer's Guide.
The ring is printed in durable PETG plastic, which will withstand temperatures up to 90°C/194°F. There is a single M6x1 hole on the bottom of the ring containing a metal threaded insert, which prevents stripping of the holes, allowing for frequent assembly and disassembly of the mounting system.
