With this “filter” you can close an opening in filter wheels light-tight. This allows you to create dark images with cameras without their own shutter and to realize a “park” position of a filter wheel.
The Astronomik Dark-Filters fit perfectly in all filter wheels of the brands ZWO, QHY, QSI, Starlight Xpress, SBIG, Moravian and Atik.

Astronomik filters come in a wide range of standard sizes, both mounted and unmounted, to suit various optical setups and cameras.
This filter is a mounted filter in a threaded 2" cell (M48 x 0.75 thread). Note that Astronomik's dark filters do not come in a plastic storage case (just a plastic bag) as their other glass filters do.
