Designed for Baader Planetarium by world-renowned Zeiss APQ optical designer, Dr. Pudenz. The Baader 2" Newtonian 1.7X Coma-Correcting Glasspath Corrector produces an extremely sharp and high contrast image off and on-axis due to its coma-correcting properties. Dr. Pudenz's design also corrects for spherical aberration and color error that can be found in binoviewers.

- Suitable to insert into the Baader Maxbright II Binoviewer and the Mark V Giant Binoviewer (insert diameter: 2" - 50.8mm, incl. M48 filter thread)
- Baader glasspath corrector is not a barlow lens.
- Glasspath corrector is primarily intended to correct the prismatic color fringing that can occur in glass optics and prisims
- For usage with the former Maxbright Mark I or other binoviewers with T-2 without Zeiss dovetail, you will need an additional T-2a adapter ring with the Zeiss Dovetail (# 2456320) – both parts are also available as a set 2" glasspath corrector 1.7x for Newtonians incl. T-2 adapter ring (# 2456301)
