1.25" nosepiece with M48x0.75 male thread. Allows you to use 2" eyepieces and other accessories in 1.25" focusers and holders (Note: vignetting may occur depending in your setup, and additional back-focus may be required depending on its use). 1.25" nosepiece features a standard 1.25" female filter thread (M28.5x0.6). Precision machined, black anodized aluminum. Tapered 1.25" barrel.
Baader Planetarium's fixed focal length Hyperion eyepieces (up to 21mm focal length) can be used as a different focal length eyepiece without the original 1.25" nosepiece. However, removal of the original nosepiece containing lenses prevents their use in 1.25" focusers. This adapter will allow you to use the Hyperion eyepieces at the alternative focal length in 1.25" focusers.
