This popular eyepiece adapter allows 1.25" eyepieces and accessories to be used in 2" focusers, diagonals and barlows. It includes a brass compression ring that restrains the eyepiece and prevents marring of the eyepiece barrel by the metal set-screw. It is precision machined from aluminum and anodized black.
With an optical length of only 4mm, this adapter will give you some additional in-focus travel compared to standard 2"-to-1.25" eyepiece adapters. It might be just what you need to bring an eyepiece to focus in your telescope.
Threaded to accept standard 48mm filters so you can use your 1.25" eyepieces with your 2" filters (be careful not to let the eyepiece barrel hit the filter though).

Important: The thumbscrew on this model is on the side of the adapter body (see photos), so it is perfect for use with "low profile" focusers that have a side notch to accept this screw.
