The ELIM-T adapter from Blue Fireball Technologies can reduce vignetting and increase the field of view, while eliminating the need for a separate T-Ring when using a DSLR camera for prime focus imaging. The adapter fits onto a DSLR camera body, and inserts directly into a 2" focuser or accessory. By attaching to the camera directly, the adapter provides a large unobstructed aperture of 44.5mm (1.75"), over 10mm more than with a conventional T-Ring.
The ELIM-T is threaded for 2" astronomy filters (M48x0.75), and baffled to reduce internal light reflections. The 2" nosepiece features a smooth-sided barrel. All metal construction.
This version will fit all Canon film and DSLR cameras which have an EOS lens mount. This includes, but is not limited to, the following Canon camera models: Rebel series (XT/XTi/XS/XSi/T1/T1i), D30, D50, D60, 1D, 5D, 7D, 10D, 20D/Da, 30D, 40D, 50D, 60D, 70D, 300D, 350D, 400D, 450D, 500D, 1000D,etc. It will not work with old, manual focus Canon mounts.
