- Fixed length spacers: 5mm, 10mm, 20mm and 30mm
- Variable spacer can provide 0.35" (9mm) to 0.55" (14mm) of continuously variable spacing *
- Allows you to securely set or vary the spacing between M48 thread components such as cameras, reducers, correctors, filter wheels, etc. or control the orientation of your camera
- Spacers can be stacked together in various combinations to achieve just about any spacing between 0.35" - 3.11" (9mm - 79mm) and fine-tune the spacing to within a fraction of a millimeter
- Each spacer has 48mm threads (male on one side and female on the other)

- The first part is a fixed spacer tube with a barrel length of 6.1mm and a really long male M48 thread. This part can possibly be used by itself as a 6.1mm spacer*. It has an outside diameter of 2" so it can be used in 2" focuser tubes or eyepiece holders.
- The second part is a 1.6mm thick M48 threaded lock ring that slides over the male thread of the first part above. By moving the location of the lock ring over the male thread, you can adjust the total spacing of the combination.

* To get a specific spacing within the 9mm - 14mm range of the adjustable spacer, your accessory threaded on to the male thread of this spacer must have a proportionately long female M48 thread. For example, at the minimum usable spacer length of 9mm, approx. 7.1mm of the male M48 thread is exposed. If your accessory's female thread is shorter than this, it will not thread on fully and the effective spacing you get will be longer than 9mm.
Also, at the maximum variable spacer setting of 14mm, you will be left with approx. 2mm of the male M48 thread length for attachment which will be sufficient for most applications.
