This adapter has a 2" filter male thread (M48x0.75) as well as a T / T2 female thread (M42x0.75) on one side. It has an SCT female thread (2"x24TPI) on the other side. So this adapter can be used as (i) an SCT female to T / T2 female adapter, or as (ii) an SCT female to M48 male adapter.
Important note: Since this is a slim adapter with a short SCT female thread, this item may not work directly with the male SCT threads on the rear of telescopes or on SCT focal reducers since these typically have 2 or 3mm of unthreaded barrel before the threads start. With these items, this adapter's SCT female thread may not catch on.
