Need to connect SCT and M48 threaded astronomy accessories? This Blue Fireball adapter might just be what you need. It has an SCT female thread (2"x24tpi) on one side. On the other side, it has an SCT male thread (2"x24tpi) as well as a standard 2" astronomy filter female thread (M48x0.75) inside it. Made of black anodized aluminum. Manufacturer part number: C-06.

Important Notes:
- Note that this adapter has a very short female SCT thread. This is not suitable to use with SCT focal reducers that have a significant unthreaded lip before the threads start. Please check the threads on your accessory before purchase to ensure that this adapter will meet your needs.
- Please note that you can use EITHER the SCT male thread on one side OR the M48 female thread on the same side. You cannot use both threads simultaneously, for example, to attach a 2” filter in an SCT chain. It will simply not work since the outside diameter of a 2" filter cell is exactly the same size as the SCT thread. If you attach a 2" filter to this adapter, the SCT male thread is no longer accessible/usable.
