Please Note: Please read the item specifications below very carefully before purchasing this item. Note that the SCT threads on this item are very short (see specs below). This item will not work if you try to connect it to the SCT male thread on SCT telescopes or SCT focal reducers (since these have a tapered, unthreaded tip and this adapter is unable to engage, or unable to engage sufficiently, with the recessed threads). This item will work well if connected to SCT accessories in which the male SCT thread is machined all the way to the end, but is not recommended for direct attachment to SCT telescopes, diagonals, or focal reducers.

If your accessory has a male SCT thread longer than this, then it will not screw in fully and the extension provided will be greater than 1.5".
