I. Celestron NexImage Burst 1.25" Monochrome CCD Eyepiece Camera w/ CMOS Sensor # 95519
Capture high-resolution planetary, lunar and solar images with the NexImage Burst Solar System Imager. This innovative camera is easy enough for a beginner to use, but features one of the best CMOS sensors available for astroimaging. It's compatible with any computerized telescope or a non-computerized telescope with a motor drive for tracking celestial objects.
Combined with the included software package, NexImage Burst brings out tremendous detail and produces images rivaling those taken with astronomical cameras costing hundreds more.
Ultra-Sensitive Aptina AR0132 CMOS Sensor
CMOS technology is emerging as the hottest trend in imaging, and Aptina's AR0132 sensor leads the way. This updated version of the popular MT9M034 sensor offers the perfect combination of speed, sensitivity, and value. You won't find the Aptina AR0132 sensor for a better price anywhere than NexImage Burst.
NexImage Burst Monochrome offers you the most senstivity for capturing the best possible astroimages. Attach a filter wheel such as the Skyris Filter Wheel to image in color.
A Great Choice for Those New to Imaging
Getting started with NexImage Burst is as easy as pointing your telescope at the Moon, Sun, or a planet and recording a video. For the sharpest possible images, NexImage Burst can record more than 120 frames per second when subframed.
The included software analyzes each frame of video, throws away the ones affected by atmospheric turbulence, and perfectly aligns the best frames. The result is a bright, clear astroimage with impressive detail.
Solar system imaging with NexImage Burst is a great way to enjoy the hobby of astroimaging if you live in a light-polluted area. If you can see the planet the sky, you can image it with NexImage Burst!
Features
- Features the Aptina AR0132 CMOS imaging sensor, a state-of-the-art chip used by imaging companies worldwide.
- View and capture live video of the Sun, Moon, and planets on your computer.
- Manually adjust gain, exposure time, and frame rate.
- Machined aluminum 1.25" adapter barrel with C-threads for direct threaded connection to almost any telescope.
- Included software automatically removes video frames affected by unstable air, leaving only the sharpest, clearest frames to be stacked and aligned into one high-quality image.
Product carries full 2 year Celestron factory limited warranty (within US/Canada only).

II. Celestron LRGB Imaging Filter Set # 95517
Take color images of the night sky with your Skyris monochrome CCD camera, a simple filter wheel, and this four-piece LRGB filter set! These imaging filters were designed in Celestron's facility in California with a spectrum bandpass that produced optimum color balance and sharpness.
Each 1.25" mounted filter has a clear aperture of 26 mm, and is layered with dichroic coatings that allow transmission of more than 92% of the visual spectrum (420 nm-680 nm) while blocking infrared (IR) transmissions that would cause slightly out-of-focus images were they left unblocked. Anti-reflection coatings are also applied in multiple layers to further increase contrast and light throughput, and to protect the filter from the effects of daily use.
The Celestron LRGB Filter Set includes a red (R), green (G), blue (B), and luminance (L) filter. Since they are mounted in a standard 1.25" cell, these filters can be used with a wide variety of cameras, including the Celestron Skyris and The Imaging Source astronomy cameras. Please note that these filters are not intended for visual use.
Features
- The perfect LRGB filter set for the Celestron Skyris Filter Wheel.
- Red, blue, green, and luminance filters made with quality glass, and mounted in a standard 1.25" cell (with 28.4x0.6 male and female threads).
- Dichroic coatings and multiple layers of anti-reflection coatings produce images with optimum color balance and light throughput.
- Filters transmit more than 92% of light from the entire visual spectrum, while blocking more than 99% of IR transmissions in the 730 - 920nm range.
- Celestron LRGB filters are compatible with Skyris cameras, The Imaging Source cameras, and other cameras that accept standard 1.25" filters.
- Celestron 2-Year Limited Warranty (within US/Canada only).
Transmission Specifications
- Luminance Peak Range > 90%: 412 - 694nm
- Red Peak Range > 90%: 596 - 693nm
- Green Peak Range > 90%: 502 - 579nm
- Blue Peak Range > 90%: 442 - 502nm
III. Celestron Skyris 5-Position 1.25" Filter Wheel for Astrophotography # 95520
Monochrome CCD cameras require the use of multiple filters to achieve a color image. A filter wheel makes it easy to toggle between filters while imaging, without moving your camera or telescope. Simply turn the dial to scroll through your available filters. If you need to swap out a filter, just open the quick-release door to the internal carousel, replace the filter, and get back to imaging in no time. The filter wheel's sturdy, machined aluminum construction and high-quality components, including spring-loaded steel ball bearings, will give you years of enjoyment.
Celestron has designed this 5-position filter as the perfect complement to their Skyris monochrome CCD cameras. The wheel threads directly to your Skyris camera body. However, it's also compatible with a variety of other imaging cameras thanks to the included T-thread and C-thread adapters. Accepts most standard 1.25" format filters. Filters not included.
Specifications:
- Weight: 11.3oz (312g)
- Camera adaptable: Standard T-thread, standard C-thread
- Barrel size: 1.25in (31.7 mm)
- Included accessories: Filter wheel assembly, 1.25" nosepiece, camera C-thread adapter (for Skyris), camera T-thread adapter, C-thread rotation lock ring, T-thread rotation lock ring
Product carries full 2 year Celestron factory limited warranty (within US/Canada only).
