US Customers in Hawaii and Alaska:

Please note: Agena only sells DGM's "first quality" filters. However, it is our experience that even their first quality filters often have pinholes, sleeks, and/or light scratches. These flaws will have no impact on optical performance and the spectral characteristics of the filter are not compromised. DGM occasionally sells "cosmetic seconds" via their website. We do not sell DGM's cosmetic seconds but please be aware that your first quality DGM filter purchased from us might still have some minor pinholes, sleeks, or light scratches. Despite these imperfections, we believe that DGM filters offer a great value at their price point.
Product Details
DGM Optics VHT Nebula/Light Pollution Reduction Filter in a mounted 2" filter cell.
The VHT is a "mid-band" Nebula/LPR filter that is the perfect match for smaller scopes, or binoculars that can use filters. This filter provides a good balance between the NPB and GCE with regards to contrast vs. field background and star brightness. In addition to the VHT's excellent visual performance, it is also a very good astro-imaging filter with high H-Alpha transmission, and transmission exceeding 90% from 486.1 to 501nm, which includes H-Beta and both Oxygen lines. As with all DGM filters, the durable Ion Assisted Plasma Coating Technology used to produce your filter ensures decades of high quality performance.
