Although it is not the shortest focal length in the 82° Series, this eyepiece’s 6.5mm focal length will produce high magnifications that are great for observing objects like the Moon, the planets and binary stars. When atmospheric conditions are almost perfect, this eyepiece can reveal amazing planetary details and allow for thorough explorations of the structures within deep sky objects like nebulae.
This multi-element eyepiece achieves superior light transmission with edge-blackened optics made of low-dispersion glass with a high refractive index.
