Product Details
The Explore Scientific TPE001-00 is an extension pier that raises the Twilight II mount by 8" from its tripod. This is really necessary for longer refractors (152mm, 127mm and maybe 102mm) but not required for the Comet Hunter or 80ED.
Pier weight = 2lb-8.3oz. (1.83kg); Total length = 10.35" (263mm).
