Sky Rover 1x Field Flattener for the 60GPA ED APO Refractor
The Sky Rover 1x Flattener is designed specifically for the 60ED APO refractor and provides an image circle of approximately 44 mm, making it suitable for full-frame astrophotography. It connects directly to the telescope via an M54x0.75 threaded connection (the 2-inch adapter on the CAA must be removed during use) and works together with the focuser’s Camera Angle Adjuster (CAA), allowing you to easily frame and rotate your camera without rotating the optical tube assembly.
The flattener features a dual-configuration design and ships configured for DSLR camera use by default. For CCD or CMOS camera setups, the SLR adapter can be removed to provide up to 70.5 mm of back focus, offering enough spacing for accessories such as filter wheels, off-axis guiders (OAGs), and dedicated astronomy cameras. A detailed connection diagram with spacing parameters is also provided for setup reference. Because the Sky Rover 60GPA shares similar specifications with the Takahashi FS-60CB, this field flattener is also compatible with the FS-60 series telescope.
