IMPORTANT NOTE: This adapter is only compatilbe with current FOT reducers in which the 2" nosepiece can be unscrewed from the upper body. Please check your reducer for this BEFORE you order this adapter. Earlier flatteners/reducers sold by Founder Optics have the nosepiece glued to the body, as a result of which you cannot use this adapter with those units.

How to use:
Step 1: Remove 2’’ barrel from the field flattener/reducer
Step 2: Fix the T2 ring mount on the M42/M48 thread (if for DSLR camera) and also remove the barrel adapter from the telescope.
Step 3: Connect the adapter with the flattener/reducer (andT2 ring mont) to the telescope.
Step 4: Connect to the camera (CCD or DSLR camera).
Disassembly:
- Remove the camera from the T2 ring mount first.
- Rotate the whole set of dual threaded adapter and the field flattener/reducer counterclockwise, then separate all the components step by step.
