Replacement Spring-Loaded Tension Screw as sold with GSO's 30mm and 50mm 3-point finder brackets (# 6BK and 8BK). Not for use with GSO's 6-point finder bracket (# 8BK-01). We do not know if this screw will work with similar finder brackets sold by other brands like Orion.
Installation instructions:
This item consists of 4 parts as shown in photos 2 and 3 above.
- Thread part B into your finder bracket from the outside.
- Insert part A into part B from inside your finder bracket.
- Slide part C (spring) on to part A (and on top of part B) from the outside of the finder bracket.
- Screw part D on to the thread at the end of part A. You will need to compress the spring (part C) in order to get the male thread on part A to reach the female thread inside part D. Be aware that this step can be hard to do.
