iOptron PST Micro Sky Tracker: Tracking Solution for the Traveling Imager!
The iOptron PST Micro Sky Tracker delivers precise camera tracking in a compact, pocket-sized design built for imaging on the go. Weighing just 390 g (0.86 lb), it supports up to 3 kg (6.6 lb) of imaging equipment and offers four tracking rates: sidereal, lunar, solar, and 1/2-speed for capturing the Milky Way above terrestrial foregrounds. Its quiet motor and precision worm-drive system provide smooth tracking, while the rugged CNC-machined metal body is ready for outdoor use.
The tracker includes a Vixen-style dovetail for use with the optional AZ base and can also mount directly to a tripod using a 3/8"-16 or 1/4"-20 connection. Its rechargeable Li-Poly battery provides up to 10 hours of operation at 20°C (68°F), with support for an external 5V power bank for longer sessions. A built-in alignment sight allows for quick setup, while an optional side bracket supports an iOptron AccuAlign optical polar scope or iPolar for more precise polar alignment. Please note: PST tracker head only. AZ base, polar scope, camera, lens, ball head, and tripod sold separately.
