Description
Meade Series 5000 Two Eyepiece Set: 32mm and 40mm Plössl Eyepiece #07692 (2â€). Meade Series 5000 eyepieces represent a milestone in design and engineering. Featuring a large 60° apparent field of view and tack sharp optical performance, which delivers a 40% improvement in corrections for chromatic aberration and edge distortions over traditional Plössls. Please note that these large 2" barrel diameter eyepieces require a 2" diagonal or eyepiece holder for use. You simply won't believe how much a premium eyepiece can improve your view, no matter what telescope you own.
Meade Series 5000 Plössl Eyepieces offer a very wide field-of-view, with pinpoint edge of field sharpness and contrast. Specifications include a five element, fully multi-coated optical design with premium-grade and exotic optical glass for the best possible performance and image brightness, blackened lens edges and internal surfaces for enhanced contrast, and a parafocal design for little or no focus change when switching between eyepieces of the series.
This convenient kit offers savings over purchasing the two eyepieces individually. Contains one each of eyepiece focal lengths 32mm and 40mm. Both eyepieces feature precision manufactured 2" barrels, increased eye relief and an adjustable twist-up rubber eyeguard for comfort and blocking stray light. Take a look through a Series 5000 Plössl Eyepiece and rediscover your favorite celestial objects.
Product carries full one year Meade factory limited warranty (within US/Canada only).
