Riding the wave of their international success with the NAV-SW series eyepieces, Nikon now offers the new hyper wide 102 degee FOV NAV-HW series eyepieces. This series consists of two focal lengths, the 12.5mm NAV-12.5HW this item) and the 17mm NAV-17HW (sold separately). Each eyepiece also includes, at no charge, the unique benefit of an "EiC" tele-extender lens, specifically designed for each eyepiece. The included EiC shortens the focal lengthof the NAV-12.5HWm to 10mm. This means that you are actually getting two eyepieces for the price of one!
The NAV-12.5HW is a 1.25" eyepiece that includes a 2" screw on barrrel. All surfaces are multi-coated with world class Nikon coatings and the mechanical and cosmetic finish is, well, perfect, as you would expect with any Nikon product. You will find your Nikon HW to be a superb addition to your eyepiece case and your pride and joy as you train it on the night skies.
