OPTEC QuickSync FTX30 Motor for FeatherTouch 2.5", 2.7" and 3" Focusers
The Optec QuickSync FTX30 motor is a compact, all-in-one electronic focusing upgrade designed specifically for Starlight Instruments Feather Touch 2.5-inch, 2.7-inch, and 3-inch focusers. Featuring Optec’s advanced ThirdLynx control circuit built directly into the motor housing, the FTX30 eliminates the need for an external controller while delivering the smooth, reliable performance QuickSync motors are known for. It retains Optec’s best-in-class clutch mechanism for dependable operation and convenient manual override when needed.
Now equipped with modern USB-C connectivity, the FTX30 includes a USB to 12V DC power cable for streamlined installation, with an optional 12V desktop power supply available for permanent observatory or remote imaging setups. It’s a simple, high-performance solution for adding precision motorized focus control to larger Feather Touch focuser systems. Optional accessories include: #17064-2.1 12VDC Power supply with wall cord, and #19799 QuickSync/DirectSync clutch lock for permanent remote installations.
