- Captures rare 468nm He II emission for unique astrophotography targets
- Reveals high-energy nebular structures invisible in standard narrowband imaging
- Optimized for the QHY miniCAM8 with a precision narrowband design
QHY Helium-II (HE-II) Narrowband Filter for miniCAM8
The He II (Helium II) narrowband filter is designed for imaging the ionized helium emission line at 468.6 nm. It enables advanced deep-sky imaging and scientific observation of high-excitation astronomical objects, revealing faint structures that are difficult to capture with traditional H-alpha and OIII filters. Optimized for the miniCAM8 high-sensitivity deep-sky imaging platform, the He II filter improves the detection efficiency of weak helium emission signals and provides a powerful tool for astrophotography and research.
-
High Sensitivity for Weak Signal Detection: Combined with miniCAM8's advanced imaging capability, the He II filter helps capture extremely faint helium emission structures with improved signal-to-noise performance.
-
Designed for Scientific Exploration: Suitable for astronomy research projects, spectral studies, high-excitation nebula analysis, and educational observation platforms
