Product Details
The QHY MiniCam5S is a cooled CMOS monochrome camera for deep space imaging, planetary imaging, and autoguiding. The MiniCam5S features an Aptina 1.2 megapixel MT9M034 CMOS monochrome sensor with a 1280 x 960 pixel array of 3.75um square pixels. The sensor has extremely low readout noise and a QE of 74% for fast capture of low-noise images. The MiniCam5S has a data capture rate of 30fps at full resolution and 200 frames per second at a resolution of 320x240. The MiniCam5S also supports on-camera guiding with 12-bit image output.
The QHY MiniCam5S also includes a dual-stage TEC that can cool the camera as much as -38C below ambient. A built-in heater keeps moisture off the chamber window, while an included silicone gel tube lets you dry the chamber manually.
The MiniCam5S incorporates an industry-standard 5 PIN guide port along with a robust Lemo-style connector which provides a superior connection between the camera and another device.
