The Sky Rover 102 GPA Planetary Telescope is built for observers who love high-contrast lunar and planetary viewing with the clean, crisp image quality only a long-focus refractor can deliver. Featuring a precision air-spaced Super ED doublet optical design and a long f/11 focal ratio, this telescope produces exceptionally sharp views with impressive color correction and contrast for observing Jupiter, Saturn, the Moon, and double stars.
Its 102 mm aperture gathers plenty of light while maintaining the elegant optical performance refractors are known for. The long focal ratio helps maximize planetary detail and improve overall image sharpness, allowing the telescope to deliver views that approach the theoretical limits of a 4-inch refractor.
The telescope also features a smooth 2.5-inch dual-speed rack-and-pinion focuser for precise focusing during both visual observing and imaging sessions. Multiple internal baffles help reduce stray light and improve contrast, while the aluminum alloy optical tube keeps the overall system durable yet manageable for transport and setup.
