Featuring a generous 2-inch, cray-ford style focuser. This focuser is designed with metal bearings to ensure smooth, and accurate performance for years to come.
Easy Storage and Travel
Dobsonians have longer optical tubes, with this model measuring about 3.5 ft. in length. For easier transport and storage, the optical tube and base separate into two individual pieces, making the telescope much easier to carry.

Supporting the Classic Dobsonian is more than just a simple rocker box. The base uses Teflon™ bearings for smooth, easy azimuth slewing and a patented tension control handle to lock the telescope in place. Once locked on an object, the telescope can support both 1.25-inch accessories as well as the heavier 2-inch eyepieces, allowing you to use virtually any eyepiece on the market.
