The Sky Rover 1x Field Flattener for the 70 APO Pro (70 GPS) telescope is a dedicated optical accessory purpose-designed to address the inherent field curvature of fast triplet refractors. By matching the telescope's specific optical prescription, it corrects edge-of-field distortion and coma without altering the native 420mm focal length or fast f/6 focal ratio.
This specialized flattener features a solid, unthreaded-to-threaded link directly onto the telescope's Camera Angle Adjuster (CAA), removing the need for unstable intermediate adapters and heavily suppressing potential sensor tilt. Providing a generous 44 mm image circle, it seamlessly delivers round, pinpoint stars from the center to the outermost corners of full-frame imaging sensors. Please note: Telescope is not included with this field flattener.
