- Feather Touch Micro Focuser is an indispensable upgrade to the stock focuser on 8” Meade telescopes including the Meade 8" Schmidt-Cassegrain models LX90, LX200GPS and LX200 Classic, Meade LX50, as well as the Meade 7" LX200GPS Maksutov-Cassegrain
- Smooth mechanism includes standard and 1/10-speed focuser knobs to help quickly and easily achieve sharp focus
- Ideal for visual observation and imaging applications
- Precision machined from the highest quality materials to insure long life and trouble-free operation.
Most modern Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes come with a single speed stock focuser on the rear cell. While these stock devices do bring an image to focus, the focal point is extremely sensitive to the rotational position of the focuser knob. As a result, it’s often frustrating and time consuming to get objects to snap into sharp focus. The dual speed Starlight Instruments Feather Touch Micro Focuser is an ideal replacement for the stock focuser for your Meade 8” SCT or 7” MCT telescope. A joy to use, the Feather Touch Micro Focuser provides precise, buttery smooth control of standard and ultrafine 1/10-speed manual focusing to get the best possible images from your telescope.
The Starlight Instruments Feather Touch Micro Focuser is easily installed in place of the original focus knob on the optical tube. A built-in stop prevents the primary mirror from detaching from the focuser. The focuser is simple to install yourself in about 10 minutes. Detailed instruction are included.
The Feather Touch Micro Focuser is precision-machined and anodized black with a brass fine-focus knob and is ideal for both imaging or visual observing. All Starlight Instruments products and accessories are precision machined from the highest quality materials to insure long life and trouble-free operation.
Note: This model is intended for Meade 8" Schmidt-Cassegrain models LX90, LX200GPS and LX200 Classic, Meade LX50, as well as the Meade 7" LX200GPS Maksutov-Cassegrain. It does not fit the LXD55 telescope.
