The GT-40 Guide scope from Takahashi - an excellent guiding mechanism to utilize with any Takahashi telescope. Due to its 40mm diameter, stars of up to the 9th magnitude are visible when utilizing this guide scope! This model is being sold on its own - just the solid scope itself, not the brackets or holder. Focus on this scope is controlled by the knurled blue knob on the GT-40's barrel. This focuser is extremely rigid, insuring fixed focus when guiding.
