For Tele Vue telescope owners who want to attach a traditional finder scope, Tele Vue offers the Finderscope Adapter Block. The FAB-1008 is a specially machined Qwik-Point adapter block, which fits in the accessory channels of all Tele Vue telescopes. The block was designed to mate with the Losmandy 50mm Finder Scope Dovetail Bracket. Once you've installed this block and the Losmandy bracket, you can use many other 50mm finders with your Tele Vue telescope. The finderscope will likely have to be removed when storing the telescope. Losmandy products are sold separately.
The angled channel on top of this rail will also fit common red dot finders that have a Picatinny-style mount. This includes the Celestron red dot finders and others.
