- Coma-Correcting Optics: Built-in correction delivers sharp, pinpoint stars all the way to the edge of its ultra-wide 86° field, especially in Newtonian telescopes.
- Ultra-Wide 86° Apparent Field: Provides an immersive, space-walk viewing experience with expansive views ideal for deep-sky observing.
- Glow-in-the-Dark Focal Length Marking: The illuminated marking makes it easy to identify the eyepiece at night without ruining your dark adaptation.
- Broad Telescope Compatibility: Works best with Newtonians and slower f/6+ telescopes, while avoiding fast refractors and coma-free designs where correction isn’t needed

Will it work in my telescope?
The Houdini eyepieces were designed for Newtonian telescopes with parabolic mirrors, but they will also work well with any telescope with a focal ratio of f/6 or slower (f/8, f/10, etc.). This includes slow refractors and most popular Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes. The eyepiece is not recommended for use with fast telescope systems without parabolic mirror, such as f/5 APO refractors.
Other Information
- Country of Manufacture: China
- Houdini Warranty: Limited lifetime warranty for the original purchaser. Defects covered under this warranty are limited to optical coating and cementing, and normal mechanical operation of the product.
