- Carbon Fiber Composite: CAD designed with the FDM process for strength and light weight
- Improved Results: Significantly increases mount performance & image quality
- Double-Hinge Design: two hinges help "wrap" around the tube for a stronger, more even grip over that of a simple single-hinge or clamp, improving stability.
- Machined Knobs: CNC hollowed & knurled aluminum red (with hex bolt)
- Modular Design: Various compatible & lightweight dovetails and handles
- Felt-lined: premium non-woven needled felt to prevent tube damage
Rouz Astro Carbon Fiber Tube Rings for 146mm (5.7 in) Telescope Tubes
Upgrade your telescope setup with the Rouz Astro precision-engineered carbon fiber optical tube mounting rings, designed to deliver a secure hold without adding unnecessary weight. CAD-designed using the FDM process for an ideal balance of strength and lightweight performance, these rings can help improve mount stability, tracking accuracy, and overall image quality. The double-hinge design wraps evenly around the tube for a stronger, more secure grip than basic single-hinge styles, while premium felt lining helps protect your optical tube from scratches or damage. Finished with CNC-machined red aluminum knobs and a modular platform compatible with optional carbon fiber top plates, aluminum bottom plates, or accessory handles (sold separately), these rings make it easy to build a setup tailored to your needs.

Engineered for Maximum Stability
These Rouz Astro tube rings feature a precision-engineered design validated through finite element analysis (FEA), demonstrating exceptionally low flexure under load, measuring just 0.29 mm at maximum deformation. The color-mapped stress simulation highlights their rigid, vibration-resistant construction, ensuring reliable alignment and secure support for imaging-grade optical setups. Machined with tight tolerances and optimized geometry, these rings deliver the structural stability astrophotographers need for long-exposure performance and consistent guiding accuracy.
