GS Series Guide Scopes: Precision Guiding, Superior Image Quality
The ToupTek GS Series 100mm f/4 Guide Scope combines a 25mm aperture and 100mm focal length with a four-element, two-group PAPO ED optical design and integrated field flattening for sharp, pinpoint stars. Its compact CNC-machined aluminum body and smooth Crayford-style focuser (AC) provide precise focusing for guide cameras, planetary cameras, and lightweight imaging setups. Please Note: This guide scope is not suitable for visual observation and cannot be used with a diagonal.
GS Series Standout Features!
Broad Compatibility

The GS series guide scopes are ready for a wide range of accessories. High-transmission coatings and fully baffled interiors preserve contrast. Supporting imaging on cameras with a 1-inch or smaller sensor. (Cameras sold separately)
Filter Threading

The front of the GS100 features a M48x0,75 threading to allow use of standard 2-inch mounted filters for mono or color imaging. Filter wheels can be mounted directly to the front using a M54-M48 step-down adapter.
Seamless Integration

The included mini dovetail base features multiple M6 threaded mounting points and one 3/8"-16 tripod thread. This enables fast and secure mounting to tripods, Vixen-style dovetail systems and custom astrophotography rigs.

Smooth Crayford-Style Focuser
Crayford focuser (AC version): AC is designed for users whose primary purpose is autoguiding. Its rackless focusing structure allows fine adjustment with reduced movement, while the lightweight design helps keep a guiding setup stable during long imaging sessions.
| Your Use Case | Recommended Version |
|---|---|
| Autoguiding only | AC |
| Guiding + imaging | AR |
| More equipment or future expansion | AR |

GS100 + AE676C
Using an M42 adapter (sold separately), the GS-100 can be paired with the AE676C all-in-one astronomy camera to create a lightweight, beginner-friendly wide-field deep-sky imaging system. This setup is ideal for portable astrophotography, travel imaging, and entry-level deep-sky imaging.

CNC Aluminum Construction
The GS-100AC/AR adopts a newly optimized raised single-ring lightweight mounting design, balancing structural rigidity with reduced overall weight. The elevated ring design also helps prevent interference with surrounding equipment during installation, improving compatibility across diverse astrophotography setups.
The anodized finish provides enhanced resistance to wear and corrosion, while the fine matte-textured surface improves grip and handling in cold or humid outdoor environments.
