- Captures the entire frame at once to eliminate rolling shutter artifacts, delivering distortion-free images
- Combines ultra-large pixels for high light sensitivity with an anti-reflective (AR) coated glass window to maximize light throughput and prevent ghosting
- Cools the sensor up to 42°C below ambient temperature, reducing thermal noise during long exposures
- Prevent condensation buildup on humid nights with the adjustable power levels built-in dew heater
ToupTek ATR Series DeepSky Astrophotography Camera!
ATR183M has a resolution of 5440x3648, 2.4μm square pixels, 1-inch optical format, and supports binning mode. The camera equips with two-stage TEC cooling system with excellent effect (cooling temperature deviation can be controlled within 0.1℃), dew prevention heater (window heating), built-in 12-bit ADC, 15ke full well, supports high frame rate mode (8.6 fps@12 bit /17 fps@8 bit RAW).
Please note: all ToupTek Astro DSO cooled cameras can only be powered by 12V3A DC power supply. We recommend using the power adapter that comes with the camera or a lithium-ion battery with stable output of 11-14V. Please do not use power supplies that have falsely stated specifications or unstable outputs to power the camera, as this may affect image capture or even damage the camera.
Sensor Specifications
ATR183M features Sony IMX183 1inch Square Optical Format.
Resolution: 5440*3648
Pixel Size: 2.4μm*2.4μm
Image Area: 13.06mmx8.76mm,
Diagonal: 15.72mm
Fast DDR3 Memory
ATR183M camera has a 512MB (4Gb) ultra-fast memory buffer to ensure stable image transmission
TEC cooling system
ATR183M is designed with an integrated heat dissipation structure and an efficient cooling module. The cooling system of ATR183M features a two-stage Thermoelectric Cooling (TEC) with controllable electric fan assisting in heat dissipation. This allows the image sensor to operate at temperatures up to 42 degrees Celsius lower than the ambient temperature. The exposure time can be set for up to 1 hour, ensuring that every minute detail is captured. Even in summer, it can still run stably all night with cooling temperatures ranging from of -5°C to -10°C.
Zero Amp-Glow
ATR183M has been carefully designed and is able to achieve zero amp-glow photo shooting. This not only greatly reduces the generation of internal glow, but also effectively suppresses the interference of external light. It also enhances the stability and durability of the camera, which means you'll be able to capture sharper, cleaner images in both long and high exposure modes.
Anti-dew technology
ATR183M adopts the new anti-dew technology , which can effectively solve the condensation problem through heating. This heating function consumes about 5 watts, which can be turned off via software to save power.
Additionally, the dew heater on the protective window has four adjustable levels. Users can choose the heating power that best suits their needs.
