The Vixen LV Zoom Eyepiece is a premium zoom eyepiece for medium to low power applications. The eyepiece offers an apparent field ranging from 40° at 24mm to 60° at 8mm. The zoom ring is aluminum and grooved for a secure grip. The 1.25" diameter barrel is chrome plated and incorporates a wide safety grove.
All air to glass lens surfaces are fully multi-coated and lens edges are blackened for maximum contrast. The inside of the eyepiece is matte black to minimize internal reflections and the mounting barrel is threaded to accept standard 1.25" filters. Weight = 7.9oz. Made in Japan.
Please Note: Zoom eyepieces will produce a ratting sound when shaken. This is due to the clearances required for moving parts of the zoom mechanism, and does not indicate defects or loose lenses. This sound is completely normal.
