The Wanderer Astro 5-Position 2" Filter Cube Wheel for RASA is purpose-built for high-speed astrophotography systems, giving imagers a streamlined way to switch between filters without sacrificing backfocus or image quality. Designed specifically for RASA 11 and RASA 36 optical systems, this compact motorized filter cube supports both 2" mounted and 50 mm unmounted filters while maintaining a low-profile, zero-obstruction design ideal for fast focal ratios. With integrated camera rotation and tilt adjustment built directly into the system, the Filter Cube Wheel makes it easier to fine-tune framing, correct sensor tilt, and build a clean, efficient imaging train for serious deep-sky imaging.

With an optical back focus of 60.3mm, the Wanderer FilterCube meets the back focus requirements of RASA 11 when used with cameras featuring a back focus of 12.5mm or less — no additional adapters needed. For RASA 36 systems, cameras with a back focus of 17.5mm or less are supported (requires additional adapter ring from WandererAstro). Compatible cameras include models from ZWO, QHYCCD, PlayerOne, Touptek, and Moravian C1x series.
Built-in CAA & Tilt Adjuster
Integrated manual CAA and a 3-point rear tilt adjuster make operation simpler. A unique access-slot design also allows collimation when FilterCube is installed. Professional means thinking through every detail — with no compromises.
Anti-Reflection Baffles
After countless rounds of testing and real-world imaging, we engineered the FilterCube with optimized mechanical dimensions and extensive anti-reflection measures to minimize common RASA imaging issues such as ghosting, rainbow artifacts, strange halos, and flat frames calibration problems.
